Raised hope within his heart He feels an incredible pull to the loving man who has King Merek Epubbrought kindness happiness and downright need back into his lifeMerek has waited for his aheri his destined mate his entire life The love Merek has for Vance is soul deep He knows he must reveal who he is and the danger that fol Not uite as entertaining or enjoyable as other simple escapist Siren sizzleI found the writing in this story to be pretty weak but in its favor I was intrigued by its theme a royal mating story of a normal guy exposed to a fantastical alternative universe with mpreg too My expectations for woks in the Siren romantic erotica are generally not very high Stormy Glen Lynn Hagen and other Siren authors often provide simplistic escapist and sometimes a bit sizzling malemale heat in pat but often entertaining stories Occasionally there is a gem in the bunch that really speaks to me and sometimes there are clunkers that are a notch or two below the normal Siren simpleescapistsmutty standardUnfortunately the books in this series fall a notch or two below other Siren books I've read It's unfortunate as I find the premise to be intriguing and some of the characters to be potentially interesting and enchanting However the prose stringing all the the various elements character relationship development the broader royal background plotsetting and the sizzle together doesn't gel nearly as much as I would have liked to enjoy this
